  • We recommend booking a consultation if you’re looking for a major color change, extensions, corrective work, or if you’re unsure what to book. Otherwise, our online booking system will help guide you toward the right appointment.

  • Yes! We offer in-person consultations for color transformations, extensions, and guests wanting a personalized plan before booking.

  • No stress! If you’re unsure, send us photos of your current hair and your hair goals, and our team will help guide you toward the right appointment.

  • For evenings, weekends, and longer color appointments, we recommend booking several weeks in advance.

  • We primarily operate by appointment, but feel free to contact us for same-day availability.

Extensions

  • Yes, we specialize in luxury extension services including hidden beaded rows and K-tip extensions. All extension appointments begin with a consultation.

  • Extension pricing varies based on desired length, fullness, and hair type. During your consultation, we’ll create a fully customized quote for both hair and installation.

  • Maintenance appointments vary based on the method used, but most extension guests visit every 4–8 weeks to keep their hair looking seamless and healthy.

Hair Color & Services

  • Yes, we offer customized gray coverage and gray blending services tailored to your maintenance preferences and hair goals.

  • Yes! Day-old hair is perfectly fine for most color services.

  • We do. Corrective color appointments require a consultation before booking so we can properly plan timing, pricing, and the healthiest approach for your hair.

Policies

  • We kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules. Appointments changed within 24 hours may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows are charged the full reserved service amount.

  • We want you to absolutely love your hair. If you have any concerns with your service, please contact us within 7 days so we can make it right. Adjustments do not include changes to the original service plan or booking.

  • Our stylists work within a level system based on experience, advanced education, and demand for their time. This allows us to offer a range of pricing options while maintaining the high standards The Beehive is known for.

Salon Experience

  • Our goal is for every visit to feel elevated, relaxing, and personalized. Enjoy complimentary beverages, comfortable wash chairs, natural light, and a welcoming luxury salon environment in the heart of Walnut Creek.
